basic questions about the functioning of my old N60

I pulled my N60 out of its case after ten years or so and am shooting a roll of film or two. I don't have a DSLR and just flopped into horrible digital / phone pictures (or none at all) for the last set of years. So, I'm interested to see how these turn out.

The camera is working, advancing the film, everything seems to be as it was. My question is...is it reasonable to think that the camera will in fact expose the film properly and everything will be normal?

Thanks for anything anyone can offer about this sort of thing.

After sitting unused for so long, the actual shutter speed may not be accurate. Even when used, they tend to slow down, especially at the faster speeds.

Uhoh. So I could be looking at a bunch of overexposed stuff? Hm. Well, thanks for the tip! Nothing to do but shoot a roll and see?

So how did the photos turned out? I have a n60 and it`s god knows how old. The thing is, with film photography you always get more exposure tolerance and the photos may seam underexposed but they actually look great. For example, when you shoot in the snow, with a film you won`t have overexposed images like you would have with a dslr. Also download and read the manual because the n60 has some cool settings you won`t necessary discover on your own

Don't know yet, am in the middle of the first roll. But I will download the manual -- or maybe I still have it. Thanks. Although I thought slowing down would make the images overexposed, not under. I misunderstood something, I guess.

Well, here are two shots from it. They look okay to me, but I would hardly know. Does anyone see any obvious signs of problems? Thank you!

Thanks for posting your shots! Nice to see that all is well with it. We kept my wife's Nikon SLR just for the fun of it, and keep it stored sans battery. Amazingly, a neighbor kid borrowed a few months ago it to meet an assignment where the teacher required a film camera.
