How to disable email notification for subscribed threads?

There doesn't seem to be an option for this. I'm getting WAY too many emails about threads that I've subscribed to that others have responded to. I can take care of that myself either through my phone's TapaTalk app or logging in on a machine. Is there a way to do this? I find it funny that there doesn't seem to be options for that..

While logged in, go to settings (top right).
You can unsubscribe to all threads from there.

Then what do you do?? I did what you said & there is no unsuscribe prompt!!
So how do I unsuscribe to emails only???

i'd still like to be subscribed to threads, though just not through emails. I checked that option, but it didn't seems to work correctly.

Select the threads you want to change subscription for - at the bottom click "Selected Threads" and select "Through my control panel only".

This would just completely unsubscribe from a thread.

While this may work, it should activate automatically and not send emails. There really should be an option for this. I'm not sure why this hasn't been thought of up 'til this point. Subscribing through control panel only doesn't work either. Admin help plz?
