Do you even know what it is ?

Well, it's the new marketplace to buy and sell :)

I found it easy enough to post an ad but wouldn't mind a view count...

Thanks Don.

I'm a bit surprised that for a forum as busy as Nikonites, Panjo doesn't seem to get much use ?

Makes me wonder where else our members selling their gear ?

Cheers, Don

BTW > I received a message from an administrator from panjo asking for feedback and I suggested a view counter !

You are correct. I really don't see that many people selling gear here. The switch to Panjo was to give more protection to the members here when selling their gear. I guess members are using more local avenues of selling.

Well, I think I just discovered why nobody wants to use Panjo :)

I really didn't pay much attention when listing my D7100 for sale. I thought the site was just an extension of what used to be The Market Place here.

Turns out they want/get 7% of the sale. It does make me wonder how they would have got their cut since I didn't finish the sign up part linking my Panjo account to paypal :)

Granted, ebay is 10% now but....

I deleted/closed my ad, I'll try the normal (free) marketplace on the other sites I frequent.

Cheers, Don

I am not really sure but I think if you use the market place here and it ties into Panjo there is no fee for senior members. I need to check on that again with @jdeg

When your experience points reach 200 the rate goes from 3.5% to 0, but it should never be 7% unless you signed up through Panjo. So basically only new members give a cut to Panjo. I'll ask them to be sure.
