Got to work today and went on the computer to Nikonites without signing in, I was able to download one of my pictures to my desktop.Does this mean anyone can take our images off here for their own use?:disturbed:Is there any way to block this from happening?

It doesn't work, firefox will get round it.

Right, the right click disable is only a javascript thing. We don't embed images like some sites, but even then it's fairly easy to find the source and download images.

Don't upload full res photos. Scale them down. You can't do much with a photo that is only a few KB. Either way, if someone really wants your photo, they will get it.

I think if you would lock up the sight,so that only members can download or upload anything from this sight.Nonmembers can read only.Other sights do this.Just saying.

There is a site in Russia trawling the Internet selling images from Flickr or any where it can get them,do what you can to make it difficult but realise if you put pictures on line anywhere they are not secure.

The only thing that works is not share anything online or when sharing, put a watermark all over it that big and ugly it at the same time ruins the whole shot.

My approach to it is simply; I don't care. I sleep better like that.
