Signature, Product Questions

I have two issues here:
1) I entered one lens into my profile, and my lens was listed, so I clicked it and it is entered on the appropriate line. Still, nothing appears at the bottom of my posts. So I was wondering if I had to check a box or something related to my signature, which I don't have, but it looks related. Would the lens appear if I added a signature?

And 2) I looked at the list of products for entering what camera I have. I entered FE a while ago because FE2 was not listed, but I was looking closer at the whole process and noticed that other models are entered. It's just that no one has entered FE2 yet. It looks like I could do it, but I don't know enough about film cameras in general (like what kind of viewfinder do I have?) to enter the model completely. Could someone else enter the FE2? I would like my info to be accurate.

I added a signature. This is a test.

The items added in the catalog will not appear in your signature, that is a separate setting in your profile. I think that is what you are after?

Strange. The signature only shows up for future posts, not already existing posts. Still no lens.

Yes. I looked all over for that setting. I haven't found it.

Saving these entries is not enough for them to appear in my posts. There must be some box to check that I haven't seen.

Click Settings on the very top menu bar.
Left panel, under My Settings - click 'Edit Signature'

Okay, I thought this:

was a result of entering data in settings, just as 'FE' appears in my sidebar because I entered it in Profile Settings. It seemed to me that this info about gear was not manually entered in the signature tool by members. As you can see in my posts, I did enter a quote by Ayn Rand as my signature. Some have quotes, or statements, while others, as above, have a list of gear. I just didn't think they were the same thing.
