I have tried to de-select receiving emails every time a post that I'm involved with appears without success. How do I do this? Also, how do I list my camera and lenses in my signature?

Scroll down and you will see "Default Thread Subscription Mode:"
Just go to "Do not subscribe" in the drop down box

To add the camera gear you can do that at http://nikonites.com/profile.php?do=editprofile

Under camera just put the model number like D7100; Once you put the first letter like D you will see a list of all the cameras in the database pop up. The more numbers you put in the smaller the list becomes. When you see your camera just click on it, Be sure to click on "Save Changes" in the lower right corner.

I know I have been away a while which I why I seem to have forgotton some basics! I already have an good number of photos uploaded but today I have been unable to upload anything, except the smallest photo to my Gallery. It seems that jpg between 6,973KB and 14,365KB fails for being "too big". Is it me or am I missing something fundemental?

Hi Marilynne, no I haven't as I have never had to in the past. They are mainly the initial shots taken and it seems odd that I can post a photo to the Forum OK but not to the Gallery?

Ahh, I see. I will have to check and try again.... thanks for the info. I did try to search for a Link to problems but ended up going round in circles and stopped! You saved my life..... :eek:

So it's back to the drawing board

PS: 5 minutes later!! I saw the box in the right of the screen as soon as I went back... there are none so blind as those who... etc..... All working now.
