Market place rules

These are being ignored more and more now,i take it they where put in place to try and protect potential purchasers, all adds in my opinion that dont meet the rules should be removed immediately,no giving the seller time to correct while some unsuspecting member could part with money, the rules are not complicated.

Well it's my understanding that both Pango and PP are there to protect the purchaser regardless as long as you follow the normal routes and not gift any payments. This is how you as a purchaser would be protected.
So regardless on if that one odd person finds the site signs up just to sell an item like so many do, they have to pay the fees if the item sells. However this is my speculation on the run down.
Maybe someone else can chime in that uses the marketplace more for selling.

Well, the rules were there before we used Pango on the marketplace. So I don't know if they should be re-written or not, but I'd certainly would like some clarifications. As a Mod, I'm often tempted to just remove the posts, but even I don't know anymore.

Maybe the rules should be written on the ad placement page and the person would have to agree to the conditions before being able to post the add. But it's always good for buyers to be a bit careful when answering adds on a forum and to be aware that there are some people out there that are not as honest as others.

I tend to agree, but I'm also bothered by the sold items sometimes still being listed. Someone might try to buy what is already gone, and some posters don't seem to bother coming back much. So who knows what's still up for sale?

Just my two cents. :)

I understand Bill, but apparently there is buyer protection built in Panjo so I don't know how efficient our present rules are. This is why I leave the posts. But my post, I think, warns our regular members about their responsibility as far as being extra careful about these transactions. When you are dealing with someone you barely know, you've got to watch your back. After all it's your money and you don't want to be sending it to someone that will disappear with it.
