Do not ever use Internet Explorer on any site that doesn't actually require it. To do so is to practically invite all manner of viruses and other malware into your system. Use it to go download Chrome or Firefox, or some other reputable browser, and then don't use it again unless you absolutely must.
Somewhat as an aside to that, is also that if you are using IE, and you find a web site that seems to be broken, it is much more likely that the web site is fine, and that it is IE that is broken. In its hubris, Microsoft tends to try to impose its own “standards” on a world that has otherwise universally agreed on different standards. A web site that follows the standards on which everyone other than Microsoft agrees, may not render correctly under IE. A web site crafted to work well under IE may not render correctly under any other browser.
Most web sites are created under the real standards and not under Microsoft's ersatz “standards”. You wouldn't be the first to complain about problems with this particular web site, and have it turn out that the problem was that you were using IE instead of using a real browser.
