If you're talking about profile awards, they are active.

I gained some experience last week. I have no idea what it is about but when I'm a lvl 60 Warlock, I'm gonna pwn you all.

Some of the achievements are a little weird like that.

Sorry, I must have missed it - The tagger award is given for adding tags to threads (and threads only)
