A problem

@jdeg.....why does my computer keep going to Nikonites, and then when I want to refresh by hitting the forum button, it continually goes back to the home page and won't let me go back to the forums unless I completely go out of the site to another website and come back in? Can you help? Thanks!

I believe this because of a browser cache. Have you cleared it recently?

I don't think it is the browser (everyones browser? ) Clearing cache does not help.

I can enter http : // www . nikonites . com/forum/ manually, and then get the forums, but now there is no menu on the home page that offers that choice.

It's working fine here. Win7 and Chrome.

I see what you're talking about now Sonic. I have the forum page bookmarked so I wasn't having any problems. I just went to the home page, and clicked "Forums" and it's taking me to the home page.

I switched to IE (which is never ever used), and it worked.

Then I tried Firefox again, and lo and behold, it worked.

But then I went to Home page, and could not get back to /forum/ without typing it in manually.

Then after that manual entry, then my own home page link still worked, so long as I avoided the Home page here.

Never was a problem until this evening.

NOT FULLY TRUE. If I click the forums menu, it gives the me only the home page, and it is hung in that loop again. Typing /forum/ works.

Since yesterday I have problems uploading photos, reloading, etc. Maybe is just here in Thailand with this site. All other sits I visited no problems at all.

Same result if clicking the Forum link in the hierarchical menu at the top of a thread.

I can get there if I go to "gallery" first.

From the home page, Forum links as Eyelight states. The /forum.php is missing. If on other pages ie Gallery it works ok. the link address on the home page is not complete. Haven't checked too many other pages to see what the FORUM tab references.

The link I get clicking on the Forums menu above is : http://nikonites.com/content/#axzz3AtQYZwFd which only goes to the Home page.

The link I get on the Home page clicking on the Forums link there is the same (and which stays on the Home page). Database error maybe?

Typing over it to replace /content/#axzz3AtQYZwFd with /forum/ is the only way I can get to the forums page.

Okay, sorry guys. This is fixed.

i was having a different problem yesterday only on here, but not thru my phone, kept getting a malware warning, did scans and nothing came up, working ok now.??

Question 1: Malware warning from where?

Question 2: Did you scan with your regular AV software, or a 2nd opinion AV?
