Slow picture loading

Pctures have been loading slow or don't show up at all for me. I know they load for others since I see likes for them.

I took it out simply because it seemed redundant to viewing 'what's new' whereas the new threads only displays new threads. The vertical space on the right was getting a bit long too, but if enough people miss it I can always add it back in.

Actually there it's something going on with the image server. Should be back to normal shortly.

I was looking at Nikonpups Thread "Post your Fence & Gates Pictures" The first page didn't load any pictures. I went to the second page and all but one loaded, but very slowly. I went back to page 1 and they finally started loading Veerry sllloooowwwlly. I noticed this thread so came to see what was up. The time I had problems was about 1245 MST As slow as the pictures were loading, I thought I was back on a dial-up connection. Ha!

We have our own image server too? It's looking like vBulletin has really evolved since I last ran everything on a single server ... although we really should have split the db off to its own server back then even.

I have not had any problems getting images to load but the site itself has been slow to load or refresh when I hit the F5 key

site appears to be back to normal, images are loaded b 4 i can scroll thru them. This morning images would start to load and appear to stop. "new post" just noticed that it was gone, i usually keep the boxes on the right side reduced so images are larger.

I have no formatting tools in quick reply, can't load pictures, and Like no longer works on any post

The photos I just uploaded are loading at the speed of light, but the old photos still take a while.

Well, things seem to be working again -- I cleared cache/history/whatever, purged all temp files, and rebooted.

Kind of - it's a CDN. I had the db and web stuff split at one point but moved to a single awesome server about 5 months ago.

Anyway, everything should be back to normal now!
