And by the time I post this, I'm at 2,360.................

I think it is cumulative since the beginning of when you joined. They've been updating the forum. Most likely you had about that number of likes before you came onto the forum just now.

Man I am feeling popular today. Mucho likes.

But why did it jump from 2,139 to 2,360 in the time it took me to create a cropped screen shot?

And when I click on it, I get taken to my Gallery.

Same here ... clicking on the likes notification takes me to my gallery as well.

Since the thanks/likes tags in posts moved to a separate box below each post, my guess (and it's been a couple years since I've administered a vBulletin forum), is that something has changed either with the style or with the particular thanks/likes plug-in that is still being updated. Could be a database reindex, but my guess is something more basic having to do with one of the edits needed to support the various mods/plug-ins on the forum software.

I would assume someone is working behind the scenes on the forum software; an update or some such.

That, or this is totally a reason to come completely unglued at the seams and go totes berserk. Yeah... come to think of it could be either, really.

Importing from old like system to a new one that is a little more flexible... still tweaking it

1566 for me as i logged in just now and i hardly frequent the forum anymore! My Yahoo is doing the same thing. Messenger tells me i have 1500 emails, but i only have a handful, lol. Crazy i tell you!

lol....I had 4, 123 Likes! Good to hear that John's still tweaking this.

Tweaking or twerking it will be all well once the work is done. Thanks for your hard work keeping Nikonites running.
