Disable shoutbox. And listing cameras in profile

Any way to disable shoutbox. Its not for me. Plus it seems to be slowing down the whole time till the page loads.
Where can I enter cameras I own? The place at the bottom of the profile info under the name

btw on my iphone the right side pane isnt loading anymore. new posts and such. Any idea why?

Shoutbox has an arrow on the right side of the menu bar. That will close it.

To enter your equipment, go to your profile (top right of the page) and edit profile. I'ts near the bottom. You can enter youe equipment from a drop down menu.

If you want it to display under your posts then you need to create a Signature and include it in your posts (a forum default will allow you to always include it without having to check a box).

I think it would be nice if we could turn the shout box off. It seems that even when it's not displayed, it still loads in the background delaying the actual refresh of the page we're trying to get to.

Exactly. it slows down the page load times..I think significantly for me. after contributing my measly $10, load times became slow.

BDH. I dont want a signature. just want to add it under "achievements/awards"

To add it under your avatar/achievements:

Enter SETTINGS section.
Click EDIT PROFILE.

You can enter your gear info there.

I would also like an option to disable the shoutbox.
