Username Legend

I noticed that some of the usernames in the legend look like they are hilighted or "glowing". What does this signify?

I cannot find anywhere that explains all the different displays of usernames colors and such.

No, I have seen these things since before we had the contributors perks.

I think Marilynne has it, but when jdeg was explaining how the paid membership would work, one of the things was to colorize your user name. I think someone asked about it before the forum change, but I don't think it was readily available for everyone. However, I could be wrong....
@jdeg, can you please let us know whether this is available for non-contributors? Thanks!

I see it on Jdeg, Pretzel, WhiteLight, ABN Panzer and FotoJack usernames only.

Obviously you found it! Lookin' good, Mike d90!

I think you can still use your points to purchase these options even if you are not a contributing member. I did get it done and it did not take away from my earned points. I got a good many points.

Need some? I also saw you can donate points to people.

In the other thread, Marcel said:

In the black bar above, click on community and then "forum feature shop"

It's there.

When I access the black bar, I can get to 'community' but 'forum feature shop' is not an option. So I'm still not sure it is available for non-contributors.

Mike, it looks like you found it since your name is glowing green.
@hark, yes, it's only for contributing members.

I found it with some direction! Kind of stinks though that all users accrue points but can't spend them. Maybe they shouldbe able to spend them but it actually does charge their bank for the purchase instead of no charge like it did me.
