How to add tags to your posts

Tags can only be added when you are starting the thread.

You will see a box below the the text box where you can add tags

Tags:
Separate tags using a comma. You may add 25 tag(s) to this thread.


Just add them there

I did find that you can add them at any time. Look below the entire thread and you can see a place to add/edit tags.

Funny, but in another thread I'd started someone else added them. Is that a moderator function, perhaps? I'm trying to remember who had tagged mine.

Adding tags to a post will make it easier to do a search to find specific information. Or at least that is what it is supposed to do. I have been tagging items all day. A thread about a specific lens I will copy the lens model and add it as a tag. Studio lighting the same way. The more tags the better organized the search will be.

I have added tags after a post was made but it only allows adding two tag words. If you do it at the beginning you can add five words.

I do that too. It is a compulsive disorder I think.
