I took a few pics to test it out and it rocks! Same shots as the D7000 with a HUGE difference. The D7000 was probably just a lemon but this D90 sure isn't. :-)

Sorry I have not got back on for a bit ... I will take a few that are not tests later in the week and post them. Class starts tomorrow night. :-)

Remember I am brand new to photography ... Here is one I took of a friend. Obviously I have work to do to start getting good shots but the camera performed well and she was stunning.

Nice image. While I love my D90, I think that getting it over the D7000 might have been a possible mistake. The focus points alone give you much more flexibility. I have found that many times the D90 does not have enough. If I have a specific composition, but there is no focus point where i need it, then I have to manually focus to my needs. Much easier to pick the point and push the shutter button.

But what's done is done. Ironically I also have both lenses you bought lol. I have both the 70-300mm and the 70-200 2.8. One day I will get rid of the 70-300 and possibly get a 1.7 converter to mount on the 70-200.
