I finally did it!!!
So I got a d90 used with a 50mm 1.8d. Im looking for a zoom lens, but the nikon 18-200 is a bit steep. Do you guys have other suggestions?

Re: I finally did it!!!
If price is a concern, the Nikon 18-55 vr and 18-105 vr are excellent budget choices. If you want to spend a bit more, but less than the 18-200, the 16-85 is excellent (about $600).

The 18-55 is too small. I was looking at the 18-105 but then I saw random 18-270. Seems like a good bargain

I would suggest the 18-200 sigma lens. It has optical stabilization, same as vr basically. got mine for 398 shipped, about half the price of the Nikon lens. I love it.

Hi
Just my two cents but I agree with Fox Racer2 the Sigma is a great lens. I have it on my D90 and love it terrific all around shooter. Nice size not to heavy and great results for near half the price of the Nikon. I was lucky and found a used one in new condition for $200.00 you will not go wrong with this one.

I can't seem to find a sigma 18-200mm with OS under 400 dollars. You were definitely luck to get it for 200
