D90 Questions

A few gave their best to answer, except you! You just threw a bird shot and said it´s as good as Rainier´s... Amigo... Stay cool, amigo...

What I want your smart ass to do is find where I said my image was as good as anyone's image. Find it, please. Your mouth is writing checks your ass can't cash.

I will kiss your 'Nadian ass over an over if you can find that I said anything even close.

I posted, not threw, my image in there to say how EXIF data can show what camera was used because your paranoid ass can't believe someone can take a good picture, one that apparently impressed you enough to blow you mind, with a D90 and post it without your doubting it came from a D90.

Re: D90 pics

She (finally someone answered that) is! Very, very good, I absolutely agree with you. I did write that her images were some of the best I´ve seen here. I just think Mike didn´t really like that someone wrote that so openly...

Man, you have a problem. Ranier isn't the only person in this thread. He did start it for D90 images and you doubted it.. I have absolutely no problem with someone having an orgasm over his images. Why would you think I had a problem? Because I posted a bird?? WTF?

Re: D90 pics

And yet another question about his/hers shots: How do we know they were taken with a D90?

Here you doubt the original thread starter.

I would hope they were, because I´m considering one... I would like to see other peoples D90´s photos look like that, and I still haven´t...

Here you down everyone else's photos because they are not up to some standard of yours.

They are all good shots, but Rainier´s are really good... Btw, I´ve checked his gallery and they are from a D90! Mmmmm...

Here you did what you should have done to begin with and checked his EXIF data.

Exactly the kind of thing that he does... Not all of us like to shoot birds or spiders... Listen guys, I´m not here to hurt people´s feelings, but I do have an opinion, or not everyone is allowed one???

This is where you got defensive for no reason. More than one person asked exactly what type of photograph you were looking for becasue you had not been at all clear.

Nice images Hark. I believe I´ve writen this before, but I´m starting to do a lot of events. Mostly family and friends for now, but what I really enjoy is portrait. In both situations a good color rendition and sharpness (I will include fast focus for events) are the most important things, IMHO... That´s why I keep asking about the D90. When I saw Rainier´s images, since I haven´t seen many portrait images posted here (Whu has some, but...) I was very impressed. If you look at my profile, you will notice that I´ve been around for about 2 weeks (and have been out of power for a few days) I didn´t remember to look at his EXIF´s... Am I to be shot or hanged or burned in a public plaza for it??? Some people don´t handle criticism all that well...

Here you accuse someone, probably me, of somehow chastising you and us not being able to handle critisism. What criticism? Where did you criticize anything?

A few gave their best to answer, except you! You just threw a bird shot and said it´s as good as Rainier´s... Amigo... Stay cool, amigo...

Again, find it for me please and I am not an Amigo.

Re: D90 pics

I entered Nikonites to learn, to discuss, to (maybe) look at some beautiful images and improve. Eventually, get some feedback on my own images (when I feel they´re good enough to go public). When I do get that feedback, I expect nothing but honesty. Not a "pat in the back", like some seem to do with some users... Isn´t that the purpose of having someone look at your images??? Of course, art is subjective. What works for me might not work for you and vice-versa, but we will only improve if there´s honesty and respect... Respect - or the lack of - is one of the biggest problems that humankind faces these days, as was well shown in some of the posts from last night. We want it, but we won´t give it. At least, not untill we get it first... That said, I find what happened last night a very improper, incorrect, wrong, way of Being, of Joy, of Living... I live with Love and Love lives in me and through me. If you read the thread, as son as I realized that my observation (if the potos were taken with a D90) was incorrect, I immediately apologized. If I ofended anyone, it wasn´t the purpose of my post. The purpose was to learn and improve... I want to thank Rainier for her beautiful images and some users for their willing to share their knowledge. Thank you all...

I live in the Present, the Now, which is all there is. There is no past, as there is no future. Only in our thoughts... I´m just learning, as we all should be...

Which means that what happened, happened and there´s nothing we can do about it. Accept what Is, is all what we can do... Ahh, and smile, of course.... :D

Please keep the comments related to the thread topic as Helene mentioned... if straying continues, it will surely get closed which will be a loss for all who wish to see D90 pics... I realize this is also off topic but a sincere attempt to get us back on track which I hope the Mods will forgive...

Flugelbender, now that this has been separated from the other thread I would like to try to salvage what could have been a total disaster.

What I, and I assume others, were trying to do was simply help you. If my offers were not satisfactory I apologize for my attempt. I never ever intended to try to compete in any way with Ranier's images. His work is outstanding and I have absolutely no jealousy over this. His work is a standard to strive for.

Myself and others just simply did not understand that you were interested only in images like what he posted. All you had to do was say that. I have no images like his. I only posted the Eagle to show you how to find out what camera, lens and settings a person used capturing a digital image. Nothing more.

Most everyone here will freely and honestly admit they are learning. I also came here to learn and I do every time I go out with my camera. I learn a lot by reading what others have posted. I learn through private messages with other members on specifics.

There is nothing wrong with a pat on the back for posting an image that may not be fantastic. But what is fantastic is that the person shot the image and was willing to keep shooting and posting. Shooting is how we learn. Not every photo needs a deep criticism.
I hope you post up some images soon and get your Feedback/Criticism that you are looking for.
