D800 versus Canon 5D Mark III shootout in Digital Camera

Funny, in the cover tease,, it states,, Full Frame Fight Club, which SLR is the Champ?

and then do the full deep dive, and keep awarding the points to the D800,

yes, the Mark III can shoot more frames per second, and then some credit for better layout for photographers, but I think that is what you are used too. I tried my friend's Mark III, and felt like I had two left hands.

in the end, they gave sport and low Light photographers the push to Canon, and the Landscape, Macro, and well folks looking for sharper images the nudge to the D800.

But,, clearly, they choked, and did not live up to their cover title.

I actually think the magazines have been very reticient in reviewing the D800. Maybe, they know know they can sell a lot more magazines hyping the new 5200 than the D800, but overall, the press coverage has been fairly light.

I saw something on the net where a dyed in the wool Canon shooter did a comparison of the D800 vs the 5D and showed the D800 out performed in low light. In fact, I think it out performed in all categories. The review had added credence coming from an avowed Canon guy. Let me see if I can find that review.
