HDR with d750

I have just acquired this camera and want to try using HDR but I get a message that I can't use HDR with the current settings. I am not sure what I have set that conflicts with HDR... anyone got some advice?

You can only use in camera HDR if shooting in Jpeg.

I find it inconvenient to have to go into the Menu to change from raw to jpg and back to raw.
I'd rather shoot in RAW and use HDR feature in the post (eg. DxO OpticsPro 10).
