No, not me :(

A buddy just picked up a new D750 to shoot his kids High School sport events & vacations, etc.

Which cards to I recommend for him?

I believe the D750 uses both SDHC and SDXC cards.

What about:

SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I 95MB/s
SanDisk Extreme Plus 80MB/s

What are you using?

I use the SanDisk Extreme Pro's but I also shoot RAW. If your friend plans on shooting JPG the transfer speed will matter much less because of the much smaller file size.

I've used sandisk 95MB, Sony 64gb 95MB and PNY 128gb 95MB and they've all written about the same speed for me. The only time I ever had an issue with buffer is trying to shoot a lot of different runners at a Color Run. The buffer fills up quick with so many different runners but I know that camera isn't ideal for that use (saving up for a D500 and xqd cards for next time!)

When i had my d600 i used the transcend 600x 32gb. More than fine for anything I threw at it. Wasnt there a sale recently for lexar or sandisk? Get the fastest thats on sale. When ill get my d750 Ill go with anything of the name brands like kingston lexar sandisk or transcend and go for the fastest they offer. But never more than 32gb. Card reader is also very important.

Thanks for this info. I'm surprised the Lexar card didn't come closer to the top SanDisk card. Most of my cards are SanDisk (although not all are the Extreme Pro), but a few are Lexar. Since Western Digital recently acquired SanDisk, I hope it won't adversely affect the stellar results SanDisk has been getting overall.

I've been using the 16Gig Lexar Professional HC sd card for the longest time. It has never let me down yet so I stick with it.
