You need Type 2 Swabs if you want to do a wet cleaning.I need to clean the sensor on my D7100, any one know what size of swabs i need to order as they come in different widths?
I use Eclipse on my D7100 (have for ages) as well as my D750 which has had the OLPF removed. Neither of them need "special" swabs. Was just checking before i click buy, some manufacturers claim that cameras like the D7100 need special swabs because they have no optical low pass filter?

I second this. It's easy to use, no liquid and works great! If you just have run of the mill dust and blowing it off with a rocket blower does not work you might want to try this first Amazon.com : Sensor Gel Stick : Camera & Photo easy to use and they do work. I have been using mine for a while.
That sucks. Good luck getting that cleaned up.For the first time ever I finally have something on my sensor that the Gel Stick sill not get off so it looks like I am going to have to break down and wet clean my sensor.
