Reverse Engineering Of A D7000

After the death of my D7000 I thought I would have a look at what's inside. A hell of a lot.... So much electronics packed into small space's.

Wouldn't like to put it all back together again.

A new D7100 will be arriving soon :)

Once you remove the back, and the motherboard, it's amazing how much they still resemble film cameras. Thanks for the look under the hood.

Mine too, although the parts might make for some cool macro shots if you have a lens for it. Well thats after you get the 7100.

No, he's just disassembling it to take a look inside the camera and he doesn't want to put it back together ;)

@PatrickDeBie Camera was dropped then the shutter had failed so got a qoute from Nikon for £264 to fix it which I agreed to. Then got another quote of £577 as the shutter blade had scratched the sensor as well. So an insurance write off. Thought I'd check the shutter scratch and it just went on from there. I think @FastGlass was joking as well :)

Ah, that is nasty. But with the D7100 you'll have a far better camera! :)
