Right in the centre of the frame so it's going into the service centre for a clean

Tried all my lenses but it's there on all of them and I'm getting fed up using Lightroom to remove them(although I am getting pretty good at it)
Nearest place is Glasgow so I'll see if they can fit me in at the weekend.

Why don't you just buy a rocket blower to start with and then a wet cleaning kit. It's not very difficult to do and you will be proud of yourself and the kits will pay for themselves.

i agree with Marcel, it is more intimadating than it actually is, just watch a few youtube clips

Ordered one. Just watched the video. Looks fairly do-able as long as I'm clean and careful(most unlike me)

But still take it slow and light.

You will never regret spending a bit of time to learn this.

Got a pack of Visible Dust cleaning swabs with the sensor clean liquid.
A steady hand and one swab was all it took. Literally, a few seconds and it was done.
Took some shots of white things and the spot is gone now

At what F stop value was the spot visible? I have some spots 3-4 visible at some shots at F20 but at shots taken at F14 they are not visible.
Do you guys think that it is worth it to clean the sensor even then or is that like OCD territory there. I mean by getting to clean the sensor every time you see something at f22 which is rarely used, it means you get to clean it very often and things can go wrong. Just worried about my sanity here...have been getting quite obsessed about this lately.
I would appreciate any opinions on this.

This was quite a bad one. As I do lots of landscapes around f11 to fit, it was showing up vividly on all my shots. For the sake of a few pounds and 5 minutes of my time, it was a job well worth doing

Well in that case you was right to get rid of it. i had my sensor cleaned just 2 days ago and now i can see spots on my shots very sharp at f18-f22 but they are not there at f14. was just wondering on whether it is worth getting to clean it again. I feel as if i am becoming a slave to my equipment where there should be a balance in how much i use and how often you clean- take care of it

If you don't normally shoot stopped down too far, and if there aren't a lot of spots visible, I wouldn't bother. I wet cleaned mine back in June then shot @500 photos. Did a quick lens change during the shoot. Wound up with a few more spots but haven't bothered to wet clean. I did use a rocket blower though. Once you perform a wet cleaning the first time, you realize it isn't difficult. My biggest problem was that I didn't use a loupe the first time. Someone (possibly Horoscope Fish) mentioned the Carson Sensor Loupe from Amazon. I bought one and it works wonderfully! Now I can see inside while performing the wet cleaning.

Well done, it's worth bearing in mind for the future if my blower does not do the trick.
