I have just bought a Giga T Pro II to take self shots (I am a fisherman so pose with big fish occasionally and mainly fish on my own). The trouble I have found is that if I flip the screen around on my D5200 and use the live view mode to line up my shot the Giga T will only take the first shot in the programmed sequence.
It seems to run the rest of the sequence and the camera focuses each time before it should take a shot but it only takes the first one.
I have messed about with various settings to no avail.
On the flipped I have run a test without using live view on the screen and it takes pictures as programmed on the Giga T.
So seems to me that the live view has an issue and won't allow pictures to be taken.
Any ideas - its getting dull and this is my second intervalometer as I blamed my original cheap chinese version for the exact same problem.
