Got three new lenses this weekend

Started out at two pawn shops first lens is a Tokina 80-200, got it for 20 dollars. Like new, but over 20 years old. Only works in manual mode but is pretty decent. Today i went to another pawn shop and picked up a Nikon 28-80 af lense for 15 dollars. Read review on it on ken rockwell and he spoke highly of it. I highly suggest this lens as well. Extremely sharp pictures. Im pleasantly suprised. And lastly i got ahold of a 1.8 50 mm. These are unavailable most places but best buy had one open box and i got it (display) for 199. Great day now time to take some pictures.

Nice! You'll save quite a bit of money buying older manual lenses. Btw, what camera(s) are you using these lenses on?

I currently have a nikon d40x that I picked up only because i got it for a great deal. I Also just picked up a D5100 on Black Friday. If i had it to do Again I would have got the d7000, but im super impressed with the 5100. I starte out with a NEX-3 and fell in love with Photography. Ive done 4 Sets so far for friends, etc. Ive shot close to 10K frames in over three months so im taking alot of pictures. Today I looked at and shot some pictures with a Pentax k-5ii. Im VERY impressed with that camera.
