I am trying to set my Fn button to be set to HDR. But first I am trying to just get to HDR. When I do Menu>Shooting Menu>HDR and try to tun it on, I get an error message which reads "This option is not available at current settings or in the camera's current state."
I have put the camera into several modes to try to get the camera into the proper "state", including "auto" "P" "S' 'A' and 'M' and others, but always I get the same error message.
So how do I get to the HDR where I can turn HDR on, set the exposure differential of type of smoothing?
Also, although it is the next step, when I use the Fn button and get the list of available setting, HDR is not listed as a choice. Is it that I have to have HDR on first before it is listed? The answer here may well be I do have to have HDR "on" first, but I'll wait and see once I get the answer to the first problem stated above.
