Playback Zoom value

I don't want to become a pixel-peeper and would simply like to review my shots on the LCD screen at 1:1.

In the playback mode, is there any correlation to the amount of times you push the zoom (magnifying glass icon) button to the magnification you see on the LCD screen? I'm referring to a D-5100.

May depend on your camera. I use my D3s 90% of the time. I have my center toggle button set up so that when pushed instantly zooms on the focus point used in that image.
I use this often to check sharpness of images. Not sure if my D90 has this as I never checked.
