While using the LiveView of the D3300 and pressing the magnifying glass 2 times it zooms the preview and has slight image loss as expected for zooming the image BUT after zooming by 1 more click the LiveView refreshes the preview about 2-3 times per second (instead of the 30FPS normal) and the image is WAY WAY cleaner than taking a normal photo and zooming on that level, anyone has any idea what exactly is going on?
Edit 1: Found out what is: Looks like the camera never actually views the .NEF file when browsing saved photos, rather it views a JPG version of it for some reason. Hitting twice the magnification button while on LiveView zooms on a preview that is not full 100% quality in order to save CPU usage but hitting it three times it actually previews live .NEF files thus the low frame rate.
