    so far i can use my sb-700 flash off camera. 3100 cant fire it.. im trying to get into HDR and to do that on 3100 takes a little longer since it doesnt have bracketing. i can use the D lenses which are cheaper price wise and work just as good as the newer ones. these were some of my reasons to switch.

    had some good teachers on here. oh yea and i listened in the class.
