Stevie Nicks has a new home!

I took a few shots of Stevie dressed up a bit! I tried a couple different settings just for the fun of it! Also I only increased the contrast just sightly on all of the shots, with no other alterations at all! :D

Yep! Now I have a matched set of D300's and I'm loving it! :D

I just need a double harness or the adapters for my spider holsters, so I can carry both with different lenses on each D300! :D

Unfortunately the money is all gone, and the bills are adding up. :(

You should consider getting a grip eventually for your D7100! But I'd highly consider going with a Nikon grip if I was you buddy. This is coming from a guy who use to have several third party grips on my other Nikon's. But with them I had no choice. But I learned that they just aren't the quality of the Nikon brand grips! :D

I admit I buy my Nikon grips used to save on the cost! Lol ;)

She looks great with a grip.

I never got a grip for the 300 because it just felt real comfortable in my hands without it. Perfect size and weight for me.
Now I'm going to have to see about the D7100 when it comes.

Yep it is an awesome lens, and I'm loving it already! I can hardly wait to get some wildlife shots with it! I want to get a good monopod for it! I found one I really want too! It a gitzo, and with some saving it's even affordable! :)

Never mind the cam that lens is sick! Could have used that today shooting surfing!

Beastly!

I buy one automatically whenever I buy a DSLR! It's usually the first thing I buy right after buying the camera. Often within minutes, or even seconds if I planned the buy for a while! Lol I even try to get the grip here at the same time or before the camera gets here! :)

Besides, the grip works awesome when doing portraits too, along with lots more battery time! :D

Stevie can last. She'll go a 1000 shots on a fresh battery.

To be honest, I'm not a huge shot count guy, and the extra battery time has never been a need for me on any of my Nikon's! But I do love the idea of it, like if I ever was away from the charger for an extended time, with great shots to get! But once you get use to the feel of a grip and like it, you'll be a grip fan for life I think! I sure am! Lol :D It feels so much safer in my hands with a grip. And here is something funny for ya! I have small hands! Lol :D

Yes. Blacktop named the D300 Stevie Nicks when he first got it. I just bought it from him, and referred to the name he called it as a gesture of our good friendship. Showing him that it arrived safe and sound, and I've added perks to it also. :)

So, I must be waaay to late to this party... but... the camera's name is Stevie Nicks...?

Well today I was finally able to carry both my D300's at one times! I'm not sure if it was the weight of these two great beasts, or my more normal physically problems. But man my hips was hurting so bad, I was sure glad to take the D300's off when I got home after seeing my beloved!

But I have to admit, it was great having them both at my fingertips! I didn't get a chance to get any shots much, but it was mainly to show them to my beloved! I'm not sure how she could tell them apart, but she new which one was Stevie nicks even after changing all the stuff around on both D300's. I never thought my love really paid to much attention to my Nikon's, but I was flat out wrong! I'll end this post before I start tearing up over my loneliness for my love.

Here is the one I kept, thought I had the settings off, and had to post process it quite a bit.
