lens for D90

I am a wedding photographer. Which lens should I buy for D90 camera?

What do you already have? What are you trying to accomplish in your photography?

I have a D90 and just ordered the f/1.8 50mm Nikon lens. It's supposed to be great for portraits, better than the f/1.8 35mm I already have.

a 50 f1.4, a 24-70 f2.8 and a 70-200 f2.8

50mm 1.4 is a must have.

definately, just got the 50mm f1.4 last week. its real sharp, creates incredible depth of field and truely captures the moment in a crisp clean way. highly recommended

A 17-55 F2.8 would be a great combo for a DX body.
I have a 17-55 and its my default lens on my cam.

Yep. Its' the 24-70 (roughly) equivalent for Nikon DX's.

my 50mm F1.4D is a gorgeous piece if glass....

Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 - (my next buy, with the 70-200 2.8 as well). Great with the DX

iv got the 80-200 2.8 and what a great glas but probably no good for weddings really!
my mate has a 90 and he uses his 10-20 sigma and his 50mm1.4 ofr weddings!

go to a shop with your body and play.....or hire from a hire firm to see what works best...you will pay for lens hire...but i would rather do that than spend money on the wrong lens
