Ever since I went from Vista to Windows 7, I have not been able to open ViewNX. ViewNX starts to open but then displays a "ViewNX has stopped working" message. Has anyone else had this problem?
I haven't had that problem but it appears that it might be a permissions issue. You might want to try to uninstall it. Reboot. When you go to reinstall, right click on the executable file and select "Run as administrator". Let us know if that works!
I just e-read your post. Are you using ViewNX or ViewNX2? I'd suggest downloading the latest version of ViewNX2 here: Current versions of Nikon software
Thank you Eduard. Installing NX2 has been downloaded and seems to be working flawlessly. Honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed that I didn't think of trying that myself.
