Lightroom

I've had lightroom for about 3-4 months, got an upgrade notification, been trying to upgrade but just keep getting this message, i click on learn more but just keep going around in circles ? i've had the Mac for about as long as lightroom so still finding me way around but stuck where and what to do ? anyone any ideas, most grateful, Thanks in advance.

Well I will start with the most obvious questions.

1. is your subscription paid up to date?
2. If #1 is yes then are you logged in?
3. If #2 is yes then are you connected to the internet?

Generally things like this are very basic. Also one thing I always ask people is Have you rebooted the computer? If not do that first and try again.

Had to ask. The only other thing I could tell you is to get a PC LOL

Logging out and back into CC might help. Also, I know nothing about macs, but pause any antivirus or backup software before trying the update. I run mirroring software and adobe updates tend to fail if I don't pause it.

Thanks nickt but the back up was done recently thats all ok and the antivirus is all built in with apple macs.

After Photoshop Elements 13 I am finding Lightroom very difficult but hey Rome was not built in a day........

Uninstall creative cloud, restart your Mac, then reinstall creative cloud.

OK I am finding my way around now but I cannot find how to re size and crop ?

Crop is in the right hand pane when you are in the develop module. Its just under the histogram. Click on the rectangle that says 'crop overlay' when you mouse over it.
To resize, like for this forum or whatever, do that in the export box.
