I did have to replace my wifi card in the computer to one that has 5G though but that was cheep.

You are so lucky.. On a really good day I might get 3Mb/s download and 0.6Mb/s up. Very slow electrons here.

Yikes that is slow. I use Dropbox for some work and transfer a lot of very large files. That would take forever

Yah, I am my rate is more like Dave... 3-5 MBs download and 2-3 upload. Part of living in the country for me.

Chattanooga has 1 gig service. They are fighting to expand it to Cleveland, but the other internet companies like Charter and AT&T are fighting against it tooth and nail!

I'm getting 54 MB down and 10 MB up right now with cable.

My smoke signal system just got 2.07Mbps down and .34Mbps up according to Speedtest.net. It still beats dial-up, but not by much. Ha! I guess I need to put another log on the fire.

Getting 30s / 10s from Comcast. Except when I'm not.

I'm with Comcast in the Washington, DC area, and got 110MB down and 12MB up on the Ookla speedtest I just ran which I'm not sure I really believe because there are times, I know it is much sower than that.
