EXIF When Downsizing

The D7100 is a beast of a camera, and so are it's files. I'm shooting large jpeg* fine, optimal quality. The images are going into Photoshop CS3 6000 x 4000. I then save for web and devices making the longest side 1000px. However, when I do this, all the EXIF data is stripped. How can I preserve it?


*I am working on getting Lightroom 5 after the holidays so I can edit the RAW NEF files.

It's using the "Save for Web" option that's stripping your EXIF data. Just do a "Save As" once you've resized to 1000px on the long edge and call it good.
