Adobe Creative Cloud - Bug in Photoshop

In July I signed up for the new Creative Cloud package for Lightroom and Photoshop and everything was brilliant.
A couple of weeks ago an update for Photoshop was made available to take it from version CC 2014.0.0 to version 2014.1.0

Since then I have discovered that the Layer Blending feature does not work properly I get all black masks then one all white mask.
This apparently has been acknowledged as a bug and Adobe they say go back to the previous version until a fix is released.

Anybody else seen this ?

How do you roll back to an earlier version after CC has installed an update?

I am just doing it now.

I've got the Mac version and use layer masks constantly and have not seen this alternating of all black and all white. Unless I'm not understanding you correctly. Regardless, CC 2014.1 seems to work fine for me.

I am on the Mac version as well the pic I attached above was from the Adobe Forum.
I have an iMac running OSX 10.9.4 the latest version of OSX

The masks created in the Blend Layers process are each all black except the bottom one which is all white. So if I have say 5 layers the top four have all black masks and the bottom layer has a white mask.

This is the version that does not work for me.

When I reverted to the previous version 2014.0. it worked fine.

So I thought I would try re installing the latest version again and guess what it still doesn't work same issue even with two layers the masks created are one all black one all white

Reading the thread on the User Forum it does seem to work for some people but not everyone. - Very strange.

Anyway Adobe say if you have the issue revert so thats what I will do for now.

Sounds like you are one of the lucky ones.
