Lightroom catalogue

I downloaded & installed LR & PS. The end of the PS download failed & when I clicked on LR to have a look, LR went through a wizard to create a catalogue. I had to cancel out of this & now don't know how to set my catalogue to a new location.

"File, new catalog" doesn't seem to do it.

Can anyone give me a pointer please?

Go to YouTube, find a Matt Klozkowski (or whatever his name is) video on LR catalogs, watch it, learn.

The Kelby/Klozkowski book on LR is a great tool as well and helped me better understand the thing.

No magic. Take the time and learn. You can always abandon the current catalog and start fresh (delete the catalog files from outside the app - don't try and do it from inside) if you fail.

Gorf... are you using Windows or a Mac ?

New catalogue should get you what you want...

That worked, thanks. My mistake was to create a folder name in the OS. I let LR do it & all is fine. I now have an empty folder!
