    According to a German camera store is saying that the Nikon AF-S 500mm f/4G ED VR II is coming in November to your favorite camera store. The picture above from the site is of the current AF-S 500mm f/4G ED VR.

    It looks like a lot of Nikon retailers do not have any SB-600 flashes in stock (and haven't for a couple weeks now). Some are marking it as discontinued in their systems. Does this mean a replacement for the 6 year old SB-600 is coming? More than likely! Here's a short convo with a CompUSA rep:

    Update: As it turns out, a shipping containing a whole lot of Nikon flashes was lost. The SB-600 is now back in stock everywhere.
