Anyone own a Nissin Di 622 speed light?
They retail for about $200.00 (about $40.00 less then a Nikon SB-600) But are equal to a SB 800/900 in output. It’s a TTL metering system and the unit can be controlled off your commander mode on your camera (has a slave mode). I am told Nissin has been making speed lights for well over 50 years (Japan Company). I just wondered if anyone has this unit and if they like it?? Here is a link for anyone interested in checking it out further.

I have one of these. I actually don't like to use flash, I prefer ambient light. But sometimes you need a few extra lumens.
It is not Nikon quality, and doesn't have all the features that the SB* flashes have, but it does what I need. never malfunctioned or misfired yet. It also works as slave as advertised.
