Hi everyone,

I've been using a F80 for quite a few years and love it to bits. However, I also have to confess that I'm spending more and more time with a point-and-click digital camera. Alas, digital is where it's at. My point-and-click camera is good, but still leaves a bit to be desired. I hope that I'll be able to share some of my experiences and draw upon my fellow forumites experiences with all things Nikon.

I live in Peak District in the UK within easy reach of beautiful countryside and a quite a few cities, e.g. Manchester, Sheffield, Derby, Stoke and Nottingham. My photographic (and general) interests are wide ranging and includes sports (cycling, running and triathlon in particular), art, drawing, architecture, mother nature, music and just about everything else. :)

Hello Di Gital and welcome to Nikonites. Seems like many of your interests go hand in hand with photography and it makes little difference what you shoot with unless you outgrow it and need more. Many folks here to learn from.

I am so jealous you living there, one of my favourite places in the UK. Spent a lot of my childhood in wetton mill and alstonfield.

Welcome
