Great series of photos... thanks.
Seeing the Grumman S2's reminded me of "these" which I discovered rotting away at "West Sale Airport", they were purchased by a gent from Tasmania with the idea of converting them to firefighters... unfortunately the cost proved to be too much and he lost interest in the whole project, and now they sit forlornly rotting away out in the weather... makes me sad to see them end up this way (as I did see them in their heyday)...

What a shame. Beautiful aircraft. And they look in good shape too.

Our local county fire department has 16 cobra helicopters from the military that are just rotting away. Same story.
