I got a Nikon D3000. I love it and it takes really nice pictures. This week I got a new lens (the 55-200mm) and since i am an avid horseback rider, I decided to try it out and take some pictures of my friends at my barn jumping their horses. Nearly every picture I took got blurry in the motion. How can I fix this and do you have any action-shot tips for me and my new camera?

Your shutter speed is too low..you need at least 1/250, 1/500 or higher to stop motion. If you are talking about a horse near full speed I would try to shoot at 1/1000 shutter speed to fully freeze. Reduce your depth of field and you should be fine..I assume you had enough daylight?

I just love how the color comes out with the D3000.In the beginning for a few uses it seemed a bit oversaturated, but after a few uses I don't need to retouch my color. It has a saturation key inside, you just have to be mindfull enough to find it.
